Whether you’re a practitioner, a wellness enthusiast, or someone simply curious about the power of sound, I hope this serves as both inspiration and guidance.

My Essential Sound Healing Instruments

Each of these instruments plays a unique role in my soundscape, and I often tweak how I use them based on the session, group energy, or even the moon phase!

Tibetan Singing Bowls

Timeless, grounding, and incredibly powerful — my Tibetan singing bowls are the foundation of most of my sessions. I often use them to anchor participants in the present moment and guide them into a meditative state. When placed on or near the body, their rich overtones can bring deep cellular relaxation.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Light, ethereal, and pure — crystal singing bowls bring a different dimension to the practice. Each bowl resonates with a specific chakra and emits a high-frequency vibration that’s beautiful for emotional release and clarity. I use them in both group sound baths and one-on-one healing sessions.

Koshi Chimes

The Koshi Chimes are among my absolute favorites — light, melodic, and magical. I use them at the end of sessions or during deep relaxation moments. Their element-inspired sounds (Earth, Air, Water, Fire) create a sense of harmony and closure.

Keyword highlight: koshi chimes sound healing, chimes for relaxation

Ocean Drum

A powerful tool to mimic the rhythm of nature — the ocean drum brings the sea right into the room. I use it for grounding, transitions, and releasing stuck energy. It’s especially soothing in emotional healing sessions.

Keyword highlight: ocean drum for meditation, sound healing with ocean drum

Tuning Forks (for Personal Sessions)

In intimate, personal healing sessions, I bring out my tuning forks. When used close to the body, these tools interact with the nervous system and energy field in deeply balancing ways. They’re especially useful for clearing emotional or energetic blocks.

Storm Drum, Rattles, and Tingshas

These percussion instruments add texture, movement, and emotional release to my soundscapes. The storm drum simulates thunder and helps stir deep emotions; rattles break stagnant energy; and tingshas bring gentle closure or intention setting.

Just like every person is unique, every session is different. Some need grounding, others need release, some want to float into silence. Having a rich palette of instruments allows me to tune into the energy of the space and participants — and create a customized, intuitive sound journey that meets them where they are.

From private sessions using big bowls and tuning forks placed near the body, to large group sound baths filled with Koshi chimes and crystal bowls — I let the occasion guide my instruments.

Ready to Explore Sound Healing Yourself?

If you’re beginning your sound healing journey or looking to deepen your practice, I highly recommend to check my blog on my Sound Healing Certification

My Sound Healing Certification Journey. – Gayatri Singh

Sound has the power to bypass the mind and speak directly to the soul.

As someone who lives and breathes wellness, I believe that having the right instruments can elevate your practice and bring healing not just to others — but to yourself.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

May your path be filled with harmony, resonance, and deep inner peace.

As a global wellness consultant and sound meditation facilitator, sound healing is not just a practice -it’s a way of life.
